📍 Here’s a play that I developed that not only helped me hit my revenue targets, but it helped me get tremendous exposure to executives within my organization. Here’s what I did. I created a search that would tell me anytime a new executive joined my company, that means I would get a chance to see who they were, welcome them to the company, connect with them on LinkedIn, and immediately cross-reference their network with my existing territory.Here’s why this is important. When a new executive joins a company, they want to make positive impact as quickly as they can, but they’re busy onboarding, getting to know people, getting to know their teammates, et cetera, but they want to impact revenue. So you can do that by proactively reaching out to them and giving them the opportunity to do just that.

The second thing is by you reaching out and saying, welcome to the company. By the way, you know a few people that I know. You’re going to be the only one that does that. And so not only will you stand out in their eyes, but they’re probably going to talk about you positively when you’re not in the room.

So here’s how you do it. Open up your lead filters and for current company, you’re going to want to put your company. Now, let’s also narrow those fields down. Maybe you wanna put in geography. Perhaps you wanna put in seniority, and from there you’ll get a notification. Anytime somebody updates their LinkedIn profile and says that they work for your company in the parameters that you set, this makes an amazing opportunity for you again to go and connect with them on LinkedIn, welcome them to the organization, and immediately see who they know within your existing territory and can probably make tremendous introductions to.
