Kristan brings deep experience in Inclusion & Belonging, strategic communications, and organizational leadership, and will share practical insights on building inclusive, high-performing teams and leading through change.

Kristan is Informatica’s first Inclusion & Belonging leader, partnering with global teams to embed inclusion, equity, and belonging into the company’s culture and advising the C-suite and Board. She is a trusted mentor known for calm leadership, precise communication, and driving measurable impact across complex organizations.

Kristan Keene is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in belonging, equity, and inclusion, strategic communications, and organizational leadership. Passionate about allyship, personal accountability, and cultivating high-performing teams, Kristan drives impactful change across teams and creates collaborative, inclusive cultures. Her strategic insight, ability to build strong relationships, and commitment to continuous learning have positioned her as a transformative leader and trusted mentor.

As Informatica’s first-ever Inclusion & Belonging leader, Kristan pioneered a comprehensive Inclusion & Belonging strategy, embedding the principles of inclusion, equity, and belonging into the company’s culture. She collaborates with global leaders and employees to enhance Informatica’s employer brand, boost employee engagement, and increase retention. Her efforts have earned the company prestigious awards and recognition, and she serves as a trusted advisor to the C-suite and the Board of Directors.

Kristan is also a gifted storyteller and a nuanced communicator who lands messages with precision and care. She is a forward-thinking business strategist who embraces change and fosters innovation, all while being a generous and collaborative co-worker who cares deeply about the causes she champions and the people with whom she works. Kristan is admired for remaining calm under pressure, motivating others during stressful times, and building trust at every level of the organization.

Prior to Informatica, Kristan served as Chief of Staff for Microsoft’s Public Sector Sales leader, where she helped strengthen relationships with public sector customers and partners. She was instrumental in managing resources, budget, communications, and branding strategies for a global team of 1,900 employees, ultimately creating a culture of trust and collaboration within the organization.

At Cisco, Kristan began in the Global Real Estate Group and later joined the Global Policy and Government Affairs team, coordinating and participating in meetings with heads of state, celebrities, and industry leaders. Her career at Cisco culminated in her role as a founding leader of the Connected Energy Networks Business Unit, where she helped to establish a global customer base, secure strategic partnerships, and build a team that developed cutting-edge smart grid services and ruggedized routers for utilities globally.

Kristan’s career began in investment banking as a financial analyst at Montgomery Securities. She later demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit by founding and growing her own golf business, turning a $6,000 investment into a multi-million dollar enterprise, which she successfully led for seven years.

Please know that these sessions will not be recorded and are meant to be an honest, open, and private exchange about what we are currently tackling in our respective roles and to allow Sam and other members to offer guidance, support, or even connections post-meeting to help all of us achieve our goals.
